Howdy,
So we are all safely happily at camp after a quiet but good journey down to Bournemouth unlike the leaders who went earlier in the day and got stuck in all the new forest traffic.
We sat round our unusually eerily quiet campfire and then went to bed.
Leisurely start to the morning and we head for Moore Country park, what a beautiful day we’re not scared…. Sun cream applied and a lovely morning at the country park.
We headed back to the campsite and enjoyed a full afternoon of VERY competitive volleyball tournament. We are now preparing dinner (fajitas) to cook on our fire.

The campsite is lovely, we’ve heard the showers are nice…yet to try them though.

We are especially looking forward to our trip to the aqua park in the new forest, not to be confused with the old forest.

Lots of Love we don’t miss the parents or anyone else reading this 😜😉

Hello,
Today we had a games tournament that was fab :-) of course stu won!
We then had a fancy lunch cooked by Ronnie (Heather and Rons chef son).
Been enjoying the rain on the Jacobs Ladder, made much more interesting by Sean’s sloth impressions. Look at pictures on our Twitter or we will leave you in suspense until our presentation.
Yours sincerely

Glad you’re having a good time and thanks for letting me know you arrived okay on Saturday. Was really worried but relieved to know everyone arrived! ;-)

PS Do I need to add Ronnie, Lianne and two Spaniels to the home contact list?

Cheers

Today we had a wonderful, wicked, wet, and wild day!! We went windsurfing at Sandbanks. We had a 3 hour session including 30 minutes on dry land practising, 15 minutes on our boards and the rest of the time in the water, LITERALLY. The sea’s plug was pulled out and George even took his buffs off for 3 hours!!
We came back to campsite with a fantastic dinner of fajitas cooked by the marvellous LABA team (Adam, Antoni and Bethany, with Laura joining later, with great expertise from Heather).
Hope you are all missing us lots
Bournemouth Bunch xoxo

We had some wonderful evening challenges in our teams including guess the person/ heads up and anagrams with team LABA winning these challenges.
Today we had a great day with fab weather (for once). First things first we went trampolining where Dan showed off his skills…lucky for us only 6 springs were missing.
Our competitive game of volleyball continued.
We then had the gladiator challenge where team LABA won yet again, but the activity was throughly enjoyed by all! As we all now compare to Usain Bolt on the gladiator challenge and had plenty of time remaining the instructor let us have a go on the leap of faith too! Antoni was by far the best at this, probably due to his tremendous height,
We then had another team challenge on the agility trail where team HOBL (Becca,Emily, Sean and George) finally won to their excitement!
There was a campfire on the campsite where George showed off his amazing voice, much to the amusement of others.
We are enjoying our last night without Laura before she crashes the party tomorrow!!!
See you soon!

Bonjour
Today we had a very exciting and fab day at Bournemouth beach. We all went in the sea and jumped the waves, it was very cold but we soon got over it! The leaders all enjoyed many games of boules while the 3 biggest kids (Ollie, Stu and Dan) decided to dig a hole for 4 hours. Claims it was their entry for the sand sculpture competition….

All entries for the sand sculpture competition are now on our matrix Twitter account, like and/or retweet the one you think is the best!!

We then we’re all given money for dinner and went off to eat, where the girls managed to secure us another bottle of ketchup from the harvester!!!! The leaders went off for an intense game of mini golf where Stu finally managed to get it in the hole ;)
All the explorers now have a gambling addiction after an hour on the 2p machines in the arcades!

Au revior

All in all a wonderful day had by all and some tanned explorers.

Greetings readers,

Today we had another very adventurous day! It started off with an hour on the aqua park full of bouncing and sliding into the cold waters of the new forest, there were lots of challenges but we all worked as team and all helped pull each other out or up. The climbers all loved attempting the overhang and eventually reaching the top of the 'ice wall’.
We then headed to Avon Heath country park to eat our lunch and to have some free time, where all the explorers thought it would be a good idea to walk the 2 hour hike back to camp… We got lost and walked half an hour in the wrong direction up all the country lanes. So we headed back where 4 explorers stopped when we got back to the park and the others started again (heading in the right direction).

When we all reunited at camp we counted down till dinner…GAMMON, it went down very well and to quote Heather “it looks like a load of locusts have come through here”. There’s none left for sandwiches

We are now all sat round the fire and packing our bags ready for the early start tomorrow,

That’s all for now bye bye
